Japanese knotweed

Japanese knotweed is one of the many invasive exotics that can grow in moist wetlands. Wetlands are not mowed every year and this makes them susceptible to a number of usually very invasive such as several exotic knotweeds, Himalayan balsam, Giant hogweed and tall and Canada goldenrod.
